Ovation!Management enters its 15th year presenting and promoting young and established artists.
Singers: Bass Vladimir Matorin made his Metropolitan Opera debut as Pimen in Boris Godunov in January. Prior to his debut, the “National Artist of Russia” sang Varlaam at Covent Garden and Pimen at the Bastille Opera in Paris. He performed his signature role of Boris with the opera companies of Lyons, France, and throughout New Zealand. Reviews were overwhelmingly enthusiastic: “A Triumph Worth the Wait,” “The Boris of Vladimir Matorin towered physically and vocally,” and “The mighty Vladimir Matorin was Boris....here was dramatic truth that would have had Stanislavsky’s approval, and a vocal subtlety that could have transferred to a lieder recital.”
Tenor David Troiano recently performed in Portugal, Italy, & Poland. An accomplished organist as well as singer, Mr. Troiano will be a Doctor in the Spring - a Doctor of Musicology & Organ.
Soprano Carla Connors concertized in Florida and South Dakota.
Soprano Daniella Carvalho has performed in Brazil with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra & goes to Las Vegas in November for a weekend of concerts.
